Thirdly, almost every single raid will want to run at least one demonology warlock for the ability Demonic Pact. It basically whenever your pet scores a critical, you will get a buff to all of the entire raid about giving them 10% of your spell damage. It is a very powerful buff, when you up this to rank 10, you can add 10% of you damage to your raid members. For example, if you have +3000 spell damage, you can buff all your raid members over 300 spell damage most of time. I must admit that it is an incredible powerful buff for your teammates in WotLK.

Thus with those high sustained AOE damage and Demonic Pact, I estimate demonology warlock in a high stage. Most important thing is that they are always the first one to choosing gears in the team early as well. Every gear that you roll to your demonology warlock is a good investment for your entire raid.
