Path of Exile patch hitting servers using a skill revamp soon

Grinding Gear Games' ARPG can get quite a big patch at the outset of June. While it will not an expansion like previous patches of similar scope, it will likely be changing up how a skills function amongst players as well as adding a fresh league.

Grinding Gear Games will start releasing additional information in the coming months apart from the initial plans they've revealed with regards to game's newest content update. The update are going to be hitting live servers on 01 June 2018 for PC, along with the following weekend on Xbox One.

While they've announced the update are going to be rather large in scope, it defintely won't be a full expansion such as the ones we've seen before. It are going to be more of a rework from the game's systems and much less of an addition of content.

The main selling point from the patch is the fact the team has been working very frustrating to fixing underused skills and adding new effects for the game. The addition of one effect to some spell can alter so many builds in PoE, which explains why many players benefit from the game.

Additionally, new Trap abilities is going to be added within the update which can make trapper builds much more fun and versatile. Apart from trapper builds, players will find much more build variety and much more will continue to surface on time.

More information regarding the contents will likely be announced inside a month, along with the team is excited to create the update a case in point that they announced the skill revamps this early even though not being their usual policy. They have been focusing on this since last expansion presumably.

Grinding Gear have promised to mend the recently-added bestiary somewhat in terms of fixing bugs that have existed for a time now. They announced they're going to have an alpha testing available soon, but that people who make an application for the alpha now might not exactly get it anyway because "that's not the actual way it works".
