MapleStory 2 Expansive Awakening Update Announced by MapleStory Fest

MapleStory is a free-to-play, 2D, side-scrolling massively multiplayer online role-playing game released in 2005, while MapleStory 2 transformed into a 3D voxel- based game in 2015. Last Saturday, May 11th, more than 200 fans of Nexon's MapleStory series had taken over Exchange LA for MapleStory Fest to celebrate the franchise's 14th anniversary in Downtown Los Angeles, which was a big hit.
The event featured cosplay, developer panels, prize giveaways, and greets, such as joining developers, community influencers, Nexon employees and fellow fans in fun on-site activities and events, shopping at the brand-new merch store and experiencing a live concert of MapleStory- themed music, while the most important is the announcement of the massively expansive MapleStory 2 awakening update will be available for PC players on May 30, 2019.
This update is part of Nexon's MapleStory 2 “Project New Leaf” update, a new class named Striker is focusing on melee and combos, it's said by MapleStory 2 on Twitter that most of players could uncover new powers via jobs rank increase for all classes, advance to level 70, challenge new bosses , and play as the Striker.

main new in-game content includes the martial arts expert Striker, 9
new dungeons dividing into 6 new original dungeons and 3 new 4-man
dungeons, 4 new raids dividing into 3 new chaos raids and just one 10-
man raid which will be more difficult than the chaos raids, ascendant
gear and the titular Awakening mechanic in the new class.
