The grand Halloween event will be held at Animal Crossing New Horizons. This means it's time to make the most of the candy you have hoarded in the past days. In this guide, we will tell you how to make the most of this event and let you know which spooky items are the most popular.

When will the Halloween event start?

When you log in to the game for the first time on October 31st, Isabelle will tell you that the Halloween event is from 5 pm to midnight (local time).

What can we do during the Halloween event?

First of all, you can give the candy you accumulated in October to your villagers. When you walk near your villagers with a pocket full of candy, they will ask you for candy, and they will give some spooky items or spooky DIY recipes to you after they receive your candy. 

If you want to get complete spooky items and recipes, you just need to walk around with your pocket full of candy during the event. If you are lucky enough to get lollipops in the process, hold onto them, they will play a very important role later.

About Jack

Jack is of course a necessary character for Halloween! On Halloween, he will walk around the town hall on your island. He is very prominent because of his big Pumpkinhead. And he will ask you for candy, like other villagers, but what he really wants is lollipops. So if you have a lollipop, you can give it to Jack.

Jack will give you different rewards based on the amount of candy you give him:

           One piece of Candy: Jack's Head and the Haunt Reaction.

            1 Lollipop: Spooky Carriage.

            2 Lollipops: Spooky Carriage DIY recipe.

            3 Lollipops: Spooky Wand DIY.

            4 Lollipops: Jack's Robe.

Once you got Jack's Pumpkinhead and robe, you can wear them pretending to be Jack to scare your villagers, and you can get candy from them, which is cool.

If you still want more candy, you can go to Nook's Cranny on your friend's island to buy them with Animal Crossing Bells.
