On the first day of December, Grinding Gear Games announced on the official Twitter that the current Blight league will end on PC in week, which means that all exiles must complete all the Blight challenges before December 8 1pm(PST) and make good preparation for the upcoming POE 3.9 the Conquerors of the Atlas.

With POE 3.9 release, there will be also a huge boss kill to team up with GGG and community streamer Zizaran, inviting the POE's best players to kill the hardest boss in Conquerors of the Atlas, which is also known as Awakener Kill Event. At the same time, GGG also announced the requirements, participation methods and prize for joining in the kill event.

This event is limited to run in Hardcore, Solo Self-found mode, and only the hardest boss Awakener kill will be counted for prizes. And the players have to place Watchstones in Citadels on the Atlas, or the score won't be counted. It will start in the first month of POE 3.9 Conquerors of the Atlas release, specifically on December 13, US time.

The total of Zizaran's $30,000 cash prizes will be awarded to the outstanding players according to the records of the order to kill the Awakener with a fully-Watchstoned Atlas, and the specific cash distribution rules are as follows:

From first to third place: $8000, $4000, $2000
From fourth to fifteenth place: $500
First Atziri Kill: $500
First Uber Atziri Kill: $2000
First Shaper Kill: $1000

Deepest Delve: $4000
