Fallout 76 Wastelanders: Has Your Weapon Been Stolen By NPC?

As Wastelanders DLC releasing, it made Fallout 76 much better than before, resulting in a mostly positive rating on consoles. This time, Bethesda brought a whole set of new people to Appalachia, also known as human NPC to talk and interact with real players.

The arrival of NPC makes Appalachia full of vitality, friendly as they are, however, someone has reported that these new NPCs have a disturbing habit for thievery, which originated after a player found his own Gatling Plasma gun has gone missing when he was killed in an event, later the gun was used by NPC Marion Copeland, who once stole weapons and ammo from the dead.

This is definitely not accidental, the NPCs of Fallout 76 will steal the best weapons and all of its ammo and use when a player was killed during the event.

NPCs are not giving the weapons back when they are done with them, that is, if your legendary gear are unfortunately taken away by this group of new residents of Appalachia after being killed, it will never appear in your inventory.

AI behaviors like this are indeed surreal, which once appeared in Fallout games, but it is believed that if the NPCs could give back after looting weapons from the dead, it would bring more competitive effects than now.

Bethesda has admitted that this is a bug and actively making it return to normal.
