How To Easily Obtain Epic Profession Items Through Crafting Quest In WOW Classic SOD Phase 3?

Apr 09 ,2024

Welcome to this new guide of WoW Classic Season of Discovery Phase 3. The recently discovered epic profession items are poised to become your best-in-slot gear for virtually every class in the game. Some classes even equip 2 of these items, and acquiring multiple is straightforward. Let me guide you through the process.

How To Easily Obtain Epic Profession Items Through Crafting Quest In WOW Classic SOD Phase 3?

Enter The Nightmare Incursion

First of all, head to Ashenvale, and we're going to go inside the Nightmare Incursion. Once you're inside, go all the way to the south below the Warsong Lumber Camp and you will see the Nightmare Amalgamation, a gigantic boss that you will not be able to defeat alone.

You don't even have to fight it. Apparently, you just need to get within its normal range because you'll notice a debuff on yourself called the Aura of Paralyzing Dread. You can pull him if you want. Then you'll hear a little whisper, and you'll begin your journey to get epic crafted gear.

Find The Field Captain

Head outside of the Nightmare Incursion itself and go right to the Field Captain that gives you the quest for the Nightmare Incursions. This might be camped out by the other faction, so just be aware of that. But as you're talking to this Field Captain, you'll notice at the bottom there are new options for you to communicate with them.

Talk With Itharius

After you talk to them, they will offer you a quest called An Amalgamation of Nightmares. This requires you to go to Moonglade and speak to the Druid trainer, Loganaar, which is located in Moonglade.

WOW Classic SOD Swamp of Sorrow

However, Loganaar will send you off to Swamp of Sorrow to find Itharius. Now, head into this cave and you'll talk to Itharius. He's going to tell you that you need to investigate the Sunken Temple and figure out what's going on down there.

Now, you either need a cleared raid lockout or to head into the raid yourself, but you can't do this unless you've actually started clearing the raid. This will go smoothly if you have a certain amount of WoW SOD Gold with you. So once you do, you will have discovered the Bands of Nefarious Deeds. So you can head on back to Itharius.

Head To The Moonglade

The next quest sends you all the way back to Loganaar in Moonglade, and you need to speak to him. And then you will need to speak to a shadowy figure. This figure will send you on a quest to find a gnome. And the gnome is actually located in Booty Bay within the inn. The gnome is called the Injured Gnome.

Next, you're sent off to Jaguaro Isle, the island to the east of Booty Bay. Once you're here, you're going to loot the small burrow. Now, we're going to go back to the Shadowy Figure in Moonglade, which is going to give you some bracers that will allow you to fight against the nightmares.

WOW Classic SOD Nightmare Incursion

Get Mantle Of Nightmares

Then you're going to head back into the Ashenvale Nightmare Incursion. Now, you need to get a group together to kill the Nightmare Amalgamation. So, make sure that you have those bracers equipped, and you will attain a Mantle of Nightmares.

You'll take this back to the Shadowy Figure, which will now offer you an Inert Mantle of Nightmares, and she'll have a dialogue option to teach you all the crafted recipes for your chosen profession. If you need a second Mantle of Nightmares, you can just head on to Rix Xizzix in Booty Bay, and this mob will sell them to you.

Effective Strategies For Conquering The Sunken Temple In WOW Season Of Discovery Phase 3

Apr 07 ,2024

Hi, players! As we embark on our journey of the new Phase 3 in WoW Classic Season of Discovery, I'm excited to share some useful tips with you that I firmly believe will greatly enhance our Sunken Temple raiding experience. I’ll cover 3 key aspects to optimize your chances of success in this raid, includes preparation before the raid, team composition, and strategies for each boss encounter. So, let's get started!

Effective Strategies For Conquering The Sunken Temple In WOW Season Of Discovery Phase 3

Raid Preparation

First, we have to talk about preparation. Your single biggest priority, and the rest of your raid’s priority, is to get all your new runes. Things are way different in phase 3. Some of these runes can increase your damage by even 20%!

New Runes

Hunters were absolutely destroying with new runes like Raptor Fury, but it’s really all the classes that get better with runes. Some of these runes feel so insanely strong on hard fights like Eranikus. The real Phase 3 secret is that Blizzard wants you to get all your runes and then do massively higher damage.

Speaking of runes, we have to prioritize the Emerald Wardens Reputation early on. First off, it guarantees you an in 2 or 3 hours of farming. Second, you’ll be getting WoW SOD Gold from all the quests, which really helps us to get expensive gear and supplies we’ll be needing for the raid.

New Gear

Your second biggest priority should be getting all the easy and overpowered new gear. The first place to check for that new gear is at the Warsong Gulch and Arathi vendors. You can grab the Level 48 upgrades instantly. Blood Moon offers new rings that'll nearly double the stats for Priest, and there are new relics and trinkets for other classes as well.

WoW Classic SOD Phase 3 New Gear

Even with the increased cost on top of PvP, you'll also want to be blasting out the newly unlocked dungeons for upgraded gear, particularly Zul'Farrak, Maraudon, and Blackrock Depths. All have newly upgraded pieces of gear.

In Zul'Farrak, by completing God of the Wild quests, mobs will drop a new currency called Wild Offerings. These Wild Offerings can be turned in for crazy near-bis items like the Band of the Wilds. This is a reliable source of Darkmoon Cards for the new decks.

Team Composition

We also have to discuss how to ensure your success in raiding. The first thing you have to do is join a guild. This raid is intentionally designed to be completed gradually with the guild. Then the most important thing is that you need to plan your team composition.

This is a raid that really tries to push you to bring a mix of melee and ranged. Speaking of specific classes, there are 2 specific classes that I'm very happy with, aside from the extremely powerful Shaman. These classes are Hunter and Shadow Priest. They can bring a lot of damage and healing to negate team damage or even tank damage.

Boss Fighting Tips

Let's discuss boss tips and strategies for the Sunken Temple raid. The raid's really challenging in Phase 3, but it's going to be getting a few rounds of nerfs. I think the best approach is to offer my first piece of advice to every boss:

Atal'alarion: Everybody's spreading out, making sure to stand between the pillars and the boss. The reason being that the knockbacks destroy the pillars, which means you take less damage. Everybody really should be running at least 2,000 health to not get one-shot.

WoW Classic SOD Sunken Temple Raid

Festering Rot Slime: As you're kiting the boss down the hallway, to stack up on a specific side. Then you can switch whenever the poison lands and take way less damage. I definitely recommend pre-farming Demonic Runes.

Atal'ai Defenders: Having several Priests in this fight felt amazing since we could chain each boss. Alternatively, Freezing Traps work really well if you have a Hunter stack.

Dreamscythe & Weaver: We tried to position ourselves past both dragons and a bit in the middle. Having a third tank to swap in was really crucial. Otherwise, our tank would get clapped.

Jammal'an & Ogom: We rolled Shadow Protection Potions, which feel like a big exploit. That's because there isn't really any Shadow damage until Phase 2. The other big thing was that I assigned a Healer to each specific group.

Hazzas & Morphaz: There is an ability called Lucid Dream that you'll want to line of sight at the end of it. This allowed us to completely skip the DPS check, and it may be patched at some point.

Speaking of healers, Resto Shamans felt like god healers in this fight. Having a shaman in each group negates much of the healing of the poison mechanic.

How Effective Is The Druid Class In WoW Season Of Discovery Phase 3?

Mar 29 ,2024

Season of Discovery Phase 3 has been officially confirmed. It brings along a plethora of new features including 10 additional levels, fresh runes, equipment updates in dungeons, PvP sets, profession items, and various other additions. As Phase 3 approaches, it's important to assess the potential impact these changes will have on Druids. Will these enhancements prove beneficial, or will Druids find themselves once again falling short in comparison to other classes?

How Effective Is The Druid Class In WoW Season Of Discovery Phase 3?

Talents - PvE Feral

We begin with the addition of 10 new Talent points.

For Feral Druids, there are various allocations to consider, depending on whether we focus on PvE or PvP. In PvE, we now have the opportunity to fully invest in the Feral tree and even opt for Furor. However, I would not recommend this path as we still have 5 talents left to allocate, particularly nowhere else. Therefore, our priority lies in investing in the Balance tree and Natural Weapons to enhance our physical attack damage by 10%. If you want to speed up the process, then make sure you have plenty of WoW SoD Gold.

At the outset, we must choose between Wrath and Nature's Grasp, 2 talents that hold little significance in PvE but are necessary for progression. Upon selecting either, we can then advance to Natural Weapons, where our 10 points will be directed.

Unfortunately, we lack an additional talent to reach Omen of Clarity, a skill utilized in Phase 1. We will have to await Phase 4 for its acquisition.

Talents - PvP Feral

When discussing PvP, there are various builds to consider, each with minor adjustments.

The most notable aspect of this phase is the ability to simultaneously invest in both the full Feral tree and Furor, a capability absent in the previous phase. This enhancement enhances our intellect, crucial for shapeshifting, as well as strength and critical strike. Additionally, we retain our energy when shifting from Furor, providing 4 extra points for allocation elsewhere, such as Nature's Grasp, Feral Aggression for Ferocious Bite, or Feral Instinct.

Alternatively, a Mana-oriented build presents itself as a solution to alleviate the hefty Mana cost associated with shapeshifting. To pursue this route, sacrifices must be made, potentially abandoning the Feral tree, Leader of the Pack, and some points from Heart of the Wild or Faerie Fire, or entirely forgoing Furor.

In my view, Furor remains indispensable for PvP, and I lean towards sacrificing offensive statistics instead. However, dropping 3 points from Heart of the Wild results in an 11% reduction in intellect and a 30% decrease in Mana for shapeshifting, which may not be advantageous. Consequently, opting for Natural Shapeshifter may not be worthwhile for several reasons, particularly in this phase.

Firstly, as previously mentioned, sacrificing intellect for Mana reduction seems illogical. Secondly, Season of Discovery differs significantly from the classic format, favoring burst meta and swift engagements where the utility of extensive shapeshifting remains uncertain, barring encounters involving Rogues.

WoW Season of Discovery Feral Druids

Talents - Balance

Conversely, Balance and Restoration specializations do not introduce any notable additions in terms of talents.

Presently, acquiring Insect Swarm remains elusive as it necessitates 11 points. Consequently, you'll initially focus on Moonfury, subsequently considering Natural Shapeshifter if you're engaged in PvP, given its effectiveness in maneuvering and adapting during one-on-one encounters. Pairing it with Wild Growth or Lifebloom runes, along with Rejuvenation, renders you formidable while your damage-dealing allies execute their tasks.

Notably, the minimal Mana cost of 200 for your monkey form and 120 for traveling form seems inconceivable considering your substantial Mana pool exceeding 4,000. Following this, you can opt for whatever abilities you deem beneficial. However, significant impact remains elusive, as we await the allocation of the remaining 10 points until reaching level 60 for truly impactful talents.

The Restoration Druid will finally complete the Restoration tree, assuming the role of a healer.

New Abilities

Regarding abilities, at level 44, Barkskin becomes accessible, serving as our final in-game defensive capability.

Its arrival has long been anticipated, as it represents our sole defensive option. As for spells, there is nothing further to discuss. However, attention can be directed towards the advancement of runes, particularly given the confirmation linked to Barkskin.

Runes Confirmed

Thus far, we have confirmed 2 runes: Improved Barkskin and Gore.

Improved Barkskin allows us to cast it on allies while in shapeshifted form without incurring any penalties to our casting time or combat speed. While this feature may not seem particularly remarkable, its utility as a healer, or secondary healer, may prove valuable, potentially hinting at preparations for future arena battles.

WoW Season of Discovery Improved Barkskin & Gore

The other confirmed rune, Gore, presents a bit of a puzzle. The initial portion mentions the use of Lacerate, which is classified as a Hand Rune. This rune offers a 15% chance to reset Mangle, which is also a Hand Rune. It raises questions about how we can simultaneously utilize 2 distinct runes. Alternatively, it's possible that I am overlooking something crucial.

Using Swipe while tanking could serve as an effective method to frequently trigger this rune, providing a substantial damage bonus and generating additional Rage, a valuable resource that bears struggle to accumulate. Conversely, employing Mangle or Shred as a cat grants a 5% chance to reset Tiger's Fury. When combined with King of the Jungle, this ability restores 60 energy and enhances our damage output by 15%. Such enhancements could significantly amplify damage during boss encounters, particularly when executing Shreds swiftly.

However, I fail to discern a practical application for this rune in PvP scenarios, where typically, only 4 to 5 Shreds are executed at most during a single engagement. Moreover, the rarity of procs in PvP settings presents a challenge. Additionally, both of these runes are designed for the head slot, limiting our options in terms of equipment customization. This lack of variety in equipment slots may force us to make difficult decisions regarding prioritizing runes for PvP and PvE purposes, which is less than ideal.

Runes Unconfirmed

Now, let's delve into the unconfirmed runes, where Barkskin and Gore stood just 3 days ago before their confirmation.

Starting with one that particularly catches my interest: Improved Frenzied Regeneration of the wrist slot. This bear spell is now usable across all forms, enabling the conversion of various resources into health, energy, rage, or mana. I anticipate this rune will serve as an exceptional defensive cooldown, especially beneficial for Feral Druids and Cat Form. Cats typically possess health ranging from 3 to 3.5k without buffs, while bears could reach up to 5k. Picture healing for 300 health every second in Cat Form—a transformative aspect in our PvP strategy. Combined with Barkskin, it empowers us to engage in direct confrontations with melee classes like Paladins, Warriors, and Shamans without succumbing to critical hits. Additionally, imagine a tank bear with abundant stamina and buffs, accruing rage upwards of 70, then activating this ability, yielding 700 health per second for a duration of 10 seconds—a truly staggering prospect. Furthermore, Balance Druids could extricate themselves from precarious situations with this ability, albeit at a cost of 50% mana for 10 seconds. Nevertheless, when paired with Innervate, it forms a potent combination for PvP. This rune harbors immense potential, to say the least.

Another intriguing unconfirmed rune is Elune's Fires, particularly appealing to Boomkins and tailored for PvE. This rune prolongs the duration of damage-over-time effects, enabling Boomkins to cast more Wraths and Starfires while minimizing global cooldowns and instant abilities like Moonfire and Sunfire. Undoubtedly, it serves as yet another damage amplifier, greatly benefiting Boomkins in PvE endeavors. Conversely, for Ferals, the extension of Rip by a mere 2 seconds leaves much to be desired. Why not extend Rake as well? This disparity fuels the perception that Blizzard harbors a bias against Feral in this expansion—an aspect that fails to captivate my interest.

The remaining unconfirmed runes include Gale Winds, augmenting Hurricane's damage output by 100% while reducing its mana consumption—an utterly perplexing concept. It seems to serve solely as a farming rune, a notion that bewilders me. Admittedly, as a Feral, farming poses a significant challenge, but this rune appears more gimmicky than practical.

Lastly, Efflorescence emerges as an unconfirmed rune that would potentially prompt Resto Druids to prioritize Swiftmend over other talents, such as those found in Balance trees or hybrid builds.

Itemization

Phase 3 introduces several new features, including updated itemization.

For the first time, PvP sets with active bonuses are becoming available, marking a significant development for all 3 Druid specializations. Considering that Survival Instincts from Phase 2 and the potential rune Improved Frenzied Regeneration in Phase 3 scale independently of HP, this represents a promising enhancement. The significance lies not only in augmenting abilities but also in bolstering stamina overall, particularly pertinent in the current burst-oriented meta. Increased stamina proves advantageous against specific specs such as Rogues, Shamans, and Hunters, among others. With these additions, Druids are less likely to face easy defeat at the hands of Rogues, offering another layer of survivability to mitigate bursts from certain classes, barring any unforeseen complications stemming from PvE items with obscure offensive procs.

Conclusion

In summary, we've received some positive developments, although certain aspects remain unconfirmed, and lingering issues persist.

It's evident that Phase 3 will bring about enhanced defensive capabilities, a matter of particular significance to me as a PvP player. In Phase 2, Druids faced significant challenges in this regard, often necessitating the sacrifice of King of the Jungle to obtain a single defensive ability, Survival Instinct. Now, with the addition of Barkskin and Improved Frenzied Regeneration, the landscape has shifted slightly. Not only will Feral Druids benefit from these changes, but Resto and Balance Druids will also see advantages from PvP gear and the potential inclusion of Improved Frenzied Regeneration.

Another area of concern is mana management. While the pursuit of Natural Shapeshifter for mana reduction appears less likely, it's worth acknowledging that this phase may prove less arduous for Ferals due to the inclusion of all 5 Hard of the Wild talents and a boost in intellect. However, mana issues for Feral Druids will persist until Phase 4. Balance Druids appear to address this challenge in this phase, while Resto Druids demonstrate commendable healing capabilities in battlegrounds and raids, aided by new potential runes and the comprehensive Restoration tree.

Despite these advancements, certain problems persist: a lack of solutions for Feral Druids in PvP, ongoing mana problems during shapeshifting, and the absence of runes that would allow for bonus damage scaling from agility. Nevertheless, the defensive enhancements appear quite substantial.

Essential Details About The Blood Moon PVP Event In WOW Season Of Discovery Phase 2

Feb 17 ,2024

A new PvP event has surfaced in Stranglethorn Vale in WoW Season of Discovery Phase 2 - the Blood Moon. In this guide, I'll furnish you with all the details regarding this event, including its rewards, along with valuable tips on easily obtaining your epic items.

Essential Details About The Blood Moon PVP Event In WOW Season Of Discovery Phase 2

About The Event

This Blood Moon event starts every 3 hours in the Stranglethorn Zone, with the first one at midnight and subsequent ones at 3:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m., and so on. After starting, every player in the zone will be hostile towards each other, except for players in a group. This also means your own faction will play against you. It is basically a free-for-all fight for 30 minutes. For every player kill, you will receive a buff called 'Blood for the Blood Loa', with 6 stacks. Every time you die, you lose one stack. This buff can stack up to 255 times. So, what you basically just need to do is to kill as many players as possible.

When you do this, you’ll receive some blood, and this blood you need to hand in at an Altar. During the event, you could just open up your map. You don’t need to do anything beside just getting close to it, and then you will receive some copper blood coins. This is a currency you’ll need in order to get your new rare or epic items.

How To Do This Event?

You can turn in your buff at 1 of the 5 Altars on the map. They will spawn during the event and are marked by red flags on your map. Simply walk over them with your buff to receive the same amount of copper blood coins in your bag. Make sure to have bag space for it. You can right-click 100 copper coins to turn it into 1 silver blood coin. 100 silver can be turned in for 1 WoW SOD Gold. When you have a decent amount of these, you can also use it to purchase one of the new Level 40 items. The Altars are also choke points for fighting, so be prepared if you go there. If you die, you receive a debuff called 'Bloodless'.

The same goes for other players. As long as you have this debuff, you don’t give a blood stack to another player if you die. The same goes for other players, so don’t hesitate to kill someone with the debuff. It has a duration of 30 seconds. Be careful around the arena. There spawns an elite mob called Kha'damu, which basically kills everyone going near. If you don’t want to participate in the event, you can go to 2 NPCs called Selarin and Emissary. If you talk to them, you can get protection from the Blood Moon and won’t fight against your own faction during the event.

After the event ends, you can turn your coins in at a Troll NPC, Myin, which can be found inside the Gurubashi Arena. Your class-specific epic 2-handed weapon - Sanguine Crusher and Bloodlight Avenger's Edge costs 15 silver blood coins. Epic rings Emberblood Seal cost 5 silver blood coins. Epic bows and one-handed weapons like Bloodharvest Blade, Bloodlash Bow and Exsanguinar cost 10 silver blood coins. Off-hand weapons, such as Swift Sanguine Strikers and Bloodstorm Barrier, cost 5 silver blood coins. You can also get a class-specific epic trinket called Tigerblood Tailsman for 5 silver blood coins.

WoW Classic SOD Exsanguinar

You can also get 2 mounts, Sabercat and Raptor, for 1 blood gold coin each. For 50 copper blood coins, you can get 250 honor with the Bloodstained Commendation. And for 2 silver each, you can get a different rare cloak with spell power or crit.

Quick Tips

Talking about grouping or being a party, the best possible thing to do is to be a party of 5 players. When you have 5 players, you could even be farming creatures in the open world. Every single kill gives you 1 copper blood coin. Better to just PvP and kill other players, as you will get a lot more blood coin this way. You could also try to do this solo, but the thing is that when you kill another player and you get blood, then the amount of blood you receive will be the exact same even if you were in a group.

During the event, there will also be a new world boss and you should not try to engage it, one-shots every single player, but there’s a benefit of being close to the NPC. This will provide you with a new buff that increases the amount of blood coin you receive, but you have to stay close in order to get this buff. If you end up dying, there will also be chain spirits you can speak to to release instantly so you don’t have to move all the way to your corpse. When you release at these locations, you will also get a buff that prevents you from rewarding any blood to other players for 1 minute, so maybe this could prevent you from also being killed for 1 minute.

Make Gold With These 6 Optimal Addons In WOW Season Of Discovery

Feb 05 ,2024

This is a guide for all the gold makers out there or just people who want to make a bit more gold in WoW Season of Discovery. I’m going to be showing you the best addons for gold making, so these will help you out with gold making in a variety of different ways.

Make Gold With These 6 Optimal Addons In WOW Season Of Discovery

Nova Instant Tracker

This is an addons that I recommend for all the people that are going to be selling boosts or farming dungeons for gold, and that is Nova Instant Tracker. What this will do is track your lockouts, so you know how many runs you have left in the hour to do. It also tracks the amount of gold that you’ve been traded.

So when you’re doing boosting, this is a really easy way to track how much gold. And then on top of that, it also tracks how many mobs you have killed in the specific instance. Every single dungeon run, useful addons for anyone that is interested in doing boosting or farming dungeons just for WoW Classic SOD Gold.

Loot Appraiser Classic

Moving on to the next addons - Loot Appraiser Classic, is that it’s going to also track how long you’ve been farming for since you started, how much gold you have made. It’ll also give you an hourly rate that you’re going to be making per hour. It’s going to pop up in the middle of the screen the loot you get.

WeakAuras

Moving on to the next addons. This is going to be WeakAuras. You can make your own WeakAuras, and it will show you different things, different cooldowns, different abilities. You can make it do actually a lot of different things. You can get a bunch of the WeakAuras already pre-made for you from their website.

LFG Bulletin Board

Moving on to LFG Bulletin Board. This is really good if you’re selling boosts. You can actually see your post, how long ago you posted it, if anyone else is actually wanting to buy the boost. You can find it there. But the main thing for gold making for this is that you can see the Trade chat channel much easier.

WoW Classic SOD LFG Bulletin Board

So, if someone is posting an item, you can find an item and see the item much easier, see if you want to buy it, maybe to resell it. Also, you can see a bunch more different posts. It basically will sort out all the posts that are done in all the different chat channels and put them into one addons where it’s easy to follow along and see what people are after and doing.

Bagnon

So, next up, this is a bag addons, which is called Bagnon. This addons is incredible. What this does is that it shows your bags like this instead of the default version. Now, this is really good. It’s a lot easier to sort your bags and to see how much room and everything that is inside bags.

TSM

Now, the best one for gold making, this is going to be Trade Skill Master, you can also called it TSM. This is by far the best addons to have for gold making. What it mainly does is it will feed you data and prices for every single item that is in the game. So, it’s very useful for that. When you’re out farming, you know how much an item is worth right away just by looking at the tooltip that TSM will give you for every single item. We’ve got a bunch of different price points and things you can go off, so you know exactly what an item is worth.

You can make groups with operations. If you’re into selling items on the auction house or if you’re into flipping, so you can make specific groups that you want to scan. You can see how much your item is going for, if it’s a good deal to buy it off the auction house and whatnot. It also makes a good mailbox system where you can get out your mail a lot quicker and easier. On top of that, you can also post items on the auction house much easier, and whatever your operations are set up to do, it will do that for you.

Farm These 3 Essential Items For Profession Leveling In WOW Season Of Discovery Phase 2

Jan 24 ,2024

I want to give you 3 items that will be highly needed in Phase 2 for profession leveling in WoW Classic Season Of Discovery. These are items that you can farm now in Phase 1 and stay ahead of the curve in terms of leveling your professions and get some important items up on the auction house as soon as next phase releases.

As I stated, you can farm all these items now. However, some are easier to farm than others. I didn't want to take multiple items for the same profession, so these are the items for 3 main crafting professions: Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, and Tailoring.

Farm These 3 Essential Items For Profession Leveling In WOW Season Of Discovery Phase 2

Bring plenty of WoW SOD Gold will help you a lot when farming these items.

Blacksmithing: Iron Ore

For blacksmithing, the item you want to stockpile and put your focus on is Iron Ore. You will need a truckload of iron bars in Phase 2 in order to level your Blacksmithing, and starting to farm some now would definitely go a long way in terms of leveling Blacksmithing to 225 in the next phase.

Iron Ore is arguably the hardest item to farm on this list due to its limited spawn rate. However, I found most success in farming this in Thousand Needles, as there are multiple fast spawn points there. However, the competition can be very fierce, not to mention the higher-level mobs that prowl the area.

Leatherworking: Heavy Leather

For leatherworking, we have an obvious one, that being Heavy Leather. Heavy Leather is the next tier of leather needed in order to reach the golden rank of 225 in Phase 2. You can easily farm this item now. They're currently going for around 5 to 6 silver apiece on my server. As you progress further to the next set of leveling zones with mobs more around the Level 30 mark, we'll be seeing a lot more of these dropping, so the price will drop as well.

However, you will need a buttload of heavy leather to reach your next rank of 225 in Leatherworking. So having as much of it as you can on hand to start crafting right out of the gate on Phase 2 launch is a very good idea, as I'm sure that most people won't be getting Leatherworking maxed straight away. So, a lot of the items available from Leatherworking will probably be in high demand as soon as the phase launches.

Tailoring: Silk Cloth

Our final item for Tailoring is Silk Cloth. Tailors will need an absolutely insane amount of Silk Cloth to blast their way to rank 225 in Tailoring next phase. Silk Cloth is very easily farmed right now, with multiple locations having a very good mob respawn rate. You should be able to farm out a decent chunk of the amount you need right now. If you're unsure of where to farm Silk Cloth, you can search for some good farming spots. However, all of these spots are heavily contested, as these items are all in high demand.

That wraps up this quick guide. Bear in mind that farm locations for these items mentioned are bound to be heavily contested, as people smarter than me have already started these farms and getting their banks stuffed with these materials for Phase 2.

Unlock The Secrets Of Fire Mage In WOW Season Of Discovery - Consumables, Races & More

Jan 10 ,2024

I’m going to be doing a thorough analysis Fire Mage guide in WoW Classic Season of Discovery, including consumables, stat priority, rotations, and other little cool tricks to min-max our DPS as much as possible. This guide is for those who want to get a little sweaty with Fire Mage.

If you possess abundant WoW SOD Gold, simply follow my guide to gain insights on Fire Mage.

Unlock The Secrets Of Fire Mage In WOW Season Of Discovery - Consumables, Races & More

Consumables

Before we get into the guide, let’s start off with consumables. The main consumable we want to have on us at all times is the Blackfathom Mana Oil. This will be key for us to hit our hit cap, which is 5%, by using this and the BFD World Buff.

Next up, we definitely want to grab plenty of Elixir of Firepower to increase our Fire spell damage by 10 for 30 minutes. This one’s pretty obvious, but we’re going to want to bring along Mana Potions as well to help keep our DPS uptime as high as possible.

Now, these next few are pretty sweaty, but if you’re all about it, then you can go ahead and grab some of these SRS. Keep in mind that, in order to get these, you will have to farm these white scrolls to get a chance to snag any of these. You can either farm them out.

Stat Priority

Let’s quickly talk about our stat priority. It’s very obvious, but our main focus is to get Spell hit cap as fast as possible, which is 5%. After that, it goes Intellect, Spell Power, Crit, Spirit, and then Stamina.

Races

Best Races For Horde: Let’s talk about the best race to play as Horde. The absolute best race to play as a Mage for Horde. For PVE, will forever be Trolled because of their insane racial, Berserking. If you’re wanting to do PVP on the Horde side, I would suggest going undead for the racial, Will of the Forsaken.

Best Races For Alliance: Now let’s talk about Alliance races for Mage. The best PVE race for Mage on the Alliance side is 100% Gnome, due to the racial pass of more intellect. Escape Artist is pretty good too. For PVP, you could honestly go Gnome or Human. Both are pretty fine.

Rotation

On to the juicy part, which is our rotation. I guess you can't wait to find out. Let’s break it down.

Living Bomb: Only Living Bomb a target if it’s going to stay alive longer than 12 seconds. It’s always nice to spam Living Bombs on everything around you to crank up the meters, but just keep in mind if they don’t stay alive longer than 12 seconds, do not Living Bomb them.

Living Flame: For living flame, basically just use it on cooldown as much as you can.

Scorch: For Scorch, we want to apply 5 stacks of Scorch to get that extra juicy fire damage buff from our Improved Scorch talent. Keep in mind, some kill times may be super fast, to where it’s only worth getting 1 or 2 stacks on the boss. Baron and Lady Sarevess are prime examples.

WOW Classic Season Of Discovery Fire Mage

Single Target Rotation: Your single-target rotation will be to pre-cast Power Blast with 6 and 1/2 seconds left on the pull timer, followed up immediately by a Living Bomb. Toss out your Living Flame, spam Scorch till 5 stacks (unless it’s a super quick fight, then just go for 1 or 2 stacks), then spam Fireball.

One thing I will mention, since we only get 1 point into Improved Scorch, I suggest trying to reapply your Scorch when there’s only about 10 seconds left, because you may not be able to reapply it in time with all the miss procs.

AOE Rotation: As for your AOE rotation, Living Bomb everything and use Living Flame on the nearest target with the most health. Use Arcane Explosion as a filler if you need to move around as well. Enjoy being number 1 on the meters for AOE during your rotation.

Mana

Don’t forget to fill in some Mana Pots if needed to keep your DPS uptime as high as possible. We have to be pretty cautious with our evocation due to its 8-minute cooldown, and a lot of these bosses being extremely close together.

This concludes my little Fire Mage deep dive guide. I hope this helps you understand how Fire Mage works in Phase 1 of Season of Discovery.
