Top 5 Skill Moves Can Maximize Your Performance In EA FC 24 TOTS

May 08 ,2024

Welcome all players! The Team of the Season event in EA FC 24 has started for a few days! To help you stand out in the Weekend League and receive amazing rewards, I'm going to give you the 5 best skill moves you should definitely try this time around. Let's dive in!

Top 5 Skill Moves Can Maximize Your Performance In EA FC 24 TOTS

1. Ball Roll

First of all, let's start with the Ball Roll. This skill move hasn't changed since the FIFA 12, and it remains incredibly effective. It's versatile, usable everywhere on the pitch, and the best part is that you can execute it with players from 2-star skill moves onwards.

The mechanics of the Ball Roll are simple: while moving your player upwards with the Left Stick, just hold your Right Stick to the right or left side. It's arguably the easiest skill move to perform, yet one of the most efficient ones.

If you haven't mastered the Ball Roll yet, I highly recommend heading into the Practice Arena. It will take you only a couple of minutes to get the hang of it, and once you do, you'll understand its effectiveness. The Ball Roll can be used to evade opponents, create space for a pass or a shot, and overall, it's excellent for generating angles and space on the pitch.

2. Elastico

Next up, we have the Elasticos, both the regular and Reverse ones. The way you perform them is actually the opposite. For example, the normal Elastico, you perform it by going with your Right Stick from the right to the left, and the Reverse Elastico is the other way around. If you're walking to the left side, you have to go from down to up for a reverse, and the other way for a normal Elastico.

EA FC 24 Elastico

The Elasticos are insane, and if you're skilled, use them with an L1 button. So, if you're inside the box of your opponent, press L1, and then your player will stand still, and then the momentum for the skill move is even better, so execution will be even quicker. These skill moves are good to create an angle to get a shot off inside the box.

3. Flair Nutmeg

Moving on, the next skill move is the Flair Nutmeg, and it is also easy to perform. All you need to do is hold L1 and R1, then flick your Right Stick to the left or to the right. You could also use it as a normal skill move to create an angle for a shot, but the Flair Nutmeg Pass is even better and just undefendable when you time it right.

4. McGeady

Lastly, let's discuss the McGeady Spin. This skill move is a bit more challenging, likely one of the hardest ones to master, but it's incredibly powerful when executed correctly. Firstly, it's crucial to understand how to perform a McGeady, which requires a player with 5-star skill moves. Once you have the proper FC 24 Player, flick your Right Stick up and to the left or right, depending on your desired direction.

Now, let's talk about the McGeady Cancel skill move. The technique is similar. Just initiate the McGeady by flicking the stick up and right in between. Then, simultaneously press L2 and R2. Next, move your Left Stick down left or right to cancel the move.

EA FC 24 McGeady

5. Stepovers

Next, let's discuss Stepovers, which is arguably the best skill move and quite straightforward to execute. To perform it, simply move your Right Stick from up to the right or up to the left, approximately 25% of the stick's range, depending on your intended direction. You can perform the Stepovers in both directions, allowing for versatility in your movements.

This skill move is highly effective, providing a significant speed boost that can be utilized by Fullbacks to create space inside the box. It's an excellent tactic to evade Defenders and create scoring opportunities. In fact, it's so effective that 9 times out of 10, you'll outpace the Defender.

Therefore, if you're looking to master a single skill move, the Stepovers are the way to go. With practice, they can lead to numerous goals and pose a considerable challenge for your opponents.

Practical Methods To Corner Kicks In EA FC 24 Across Various Scenarios

Apr 17 ,2024

Welcome to a new tutorial for EA FC 24 players, and this time is about the corner kicks! I will provide with you 5 ways to score your corners. You can learn how to approach them in different ways and how we need to do it like a pro. I’ve got you covered with 5 ways to score from a corner kick. So let’s get right into it.

Practical Methods To Corner Kicks In EA FC 24 Across Various Scenarios

Players & Playstyles

Firstly, you need to pick a player who has the Aerial Playstyle Plus to head the ball. For example, players like Holland, Lukon, Zurlo that are all suitable for corner kicks. And if possible, if you’ve got 2 in a team, you want to take with players with Dead Ball Playstyle Plus. But the Dead Ball Playstyle can also help in the accuracy of the corner. Boosting the abilities of your corner players in EA FC 24 is crucial, and you can achieve this by investing in EA FC 24 Coins.

Direct Corner

The first situation involves using a player, ideally right-footed on the right side or left-footed on the left side. The principle remains consistent. We direct the kick all the way to the right with about 3 and a half bars of power, almost reaching maximum power, but not quite. If your opponent's Goalkeeper remains stationary, you're practically guaranteed a goal. Aiming manually isn't too challenging from a 5-yard starting position.

In another case, we utilize a right-footed player on the left or a left-footed player on the right. Similar to the previous method, our opponent does not move their Goalkeeper. Therefore, we aim the corner kick around the penalty spot, employing nearly the same power as before. This prevents the ball from reaching the back post entirely. With the advantage of an Aerial Plus, the designated player secures a win header.

Now, in the final situation. We aim to target the second post, utilizing a right-footed player on the left and a left-footed player on the right. This time, by positioning the right stick all the way down to the right, we generate an inside curve for the ball.

Next, we direct the ball slightly further, aiming between the penalty spot and the 20-yard box. It's crucial to apply considerable power once again, nearly reaching full power. Initiating the run towards the first post, and then swiftly transition towards the far post, the second post, positioning ourselves for a potential header.

EA FC 24 Corner Kicks

Short Variant

Now, let’s discuss the short variant of corner kicks. It’s essential to designate a player for short. You can do this even before the corner kick animation by repeatedly pressing R1. Alternatively, you can call the player with R1 after initiating the corner kick.

Now comes the tricky part: utilizing Player Lock. This mechanic requires precision and practice, making it a more advanced corner strategy. To engage Player Lock, simultaneously press L3 and R3, then use the right stick to select the desired player.

In this case, we aim for the player positioned at the back post. We then attempt to make a run towards the back post and press square to deliver a cross to him. Ideally, this maneuver results in a free header at the back post. While having a player proficient in the aerial duels is advantageous, this tactic can be executed with any player on the team.

Strategic Deception

In more intricate scenarios, opponents tend to adjust their Goalkeeper positioning, nullifying the effectiveness of the initial 2 methods. We will deliver the corner kick, presumably endowed with strong Dead Ball skills, although this is unverified. The setup involves a right-footed player on the left side and a left-footed player on the right side.

Noticing the Goalkeeper movement, we face a decision: target the second post or the first post. Opting for the latter, we employ a Strategic Deception. Initially, feigning a run towards the second post confuses the opponent, complicating their marking. Then, swiftly altering course, we advance towards the first post.

The corner kick is directed around the penalty spot, akin to the initial variant, subject to the player's technique. Experimentation is key to determining the optimal power level for your corner kick taker. Executing a decisive run towards the first post capitalizes on the Goalkeeper's displaced position, often resulting in a goal, particularly in the absence of a Goalkeeper guarding the net.

5 Formations You Can’t Miss For The EA FC 24 Weekend League

Mar 21 ,2024

Hi, players! Welcome to this new guide for EA FC 24. The Weekend League is right around the corner and being prepared is key. Your preparation should begin with selecting a solid formation. So in this guide, I will share the top 5 formations that you should consider using in the game.

5 Formations You Can’t Miss For The EA FC 24 Weekend League

5-2-1-2

The first formation to consider is the 5-2-1-2, which stands out as the only 5-back formation among the options. When it comes to instructions, specifics aren't crucial. However, it's advisable to set it to balanced and Direct Passing. One crucial instruction is to assign your CAM to Stay Forward. Then, you can opt for Stay Back and Cover Center for the Midfielders.

The Stay Forward instruction is very important for initiating quick counter-attacks, as it capitalizes on one of this formation's strengths. The 5-2-1-2 is also well-suited for executing Tiki Taka, seamlessly connecting passes and creating easy scoring opportunities.

In terms of attacking dynamics, it boasts a strong central presence with the CAM, 2 Center Midfielder, and a Striker, facilitating fluid combination play among these 5 players. The overlapping Fullbacks add an extra dimension to the attack, making the formation particularly dangerous in offensive transitions.

Despite its offensive prowess, the 5-2-1-2 remains solid defensively because of its 5-back structure. Building up through the Fullbacks is essential in both offensive and defensive phases of play, ensuring a balanced approach to the game.

4-1-2-1-2(2)

Let’s talk about the next formation, the 4-1-2-1-2 narrow. One notable advantage of the 4-1-2-1-2 formation is its effectiveness in building up play through the middle. Instructions for this formation are relatively straightforward. It's recommended to assign one Fullback to Stay Back while the other remains on balanced. The choice of which Fullback to designate as balanced is a matter of personal preference.

EA FC 24 4-1-2-1-2(2)

It's crucial to instruct all CMs and CDMs to cover the center, ensuring defensive solidity in the middle of the pitch. Defensively, the wings may be slightly exposed, necessitating a cautious approach without pressing excessively. The formation's strength lies in its ability to build up through the middle and execute effective counter-attacks.

In terms of offensive tactics, the 4-1-2-1-2 narrow excels in implementing Tiki Taka playstyle. The addition of a CDM enhances the build-up phase, facilitating quick passing sequences. Emphasizing precise passes, particularly with the X button, can overwhelm opponents and create scoring opportunities.

The formation's counter-attack potential is a significant asset. By instructing the CAM to Stay Forward, along with maintaining 3 players upfront, the formation sets the stage for swift and decisive counter-attacks. To make better use of this formation, you can invest some EA FC 24 Coins to improve the abilities of your players.

4-4-2

Now, let's delve into the more balanced formations. Formation number 5 on this list is the 4-4-2. It's a popular choice among many players. In terms of specific tactics, I prefer a defensive Width of 40 and a Depth of 62. Maintain balanced with Direct Passing, a Width of 55, and 5 Player in the Box. The 4-4-2 doesn't require extensive adjustments because of its natural balance.

EA FC 24 4-4-2

When it comes to instructions, I recommend setting all outfield players to come back on defense. Set your Center Midfielders and Fullbacks to Stay Back while Attacking. This setup ensures defensive solidity while maintaining attacking options.

While building up play in this formation may require patience, once you establish your position, you have the luxury of 2 Strikers to choose from. You can create one-on-one situations with the opponent's Center Backs using my Strikers.

This formation poses dilemmas for your opponent, forcing them to choose between defending against both Strikers or committing to one and leaving the other free. By keeping your opponent guessing, you gain a psychological advantage, making the 4-4-2 an ideal choice for those adept at tactical mind games.

4-2-3-1

Moving on, let's discuss the 4-2-3-1 formation. It's the best defensive setup among the formations mentioned. It offers even better defensive solidity than a 5-back formation. This makes it particularly suitable for players who prefer a slower, possession-based style of play and enjoy pressing their opponents.

When it comes to instructions and tactics, they largely mirror those of the 4-4-2. The formation itself is well-balanced and doesn't require significant alterations. It operates effectively with standard tactics, with no extreme depth or width adjustments.

EA FC 24 4-2-3-1

Then, let's delve into why the 4-2-3-1 is so effective. The defensive structure of this formation is exceptional, making it difficult for opponents to create one-on-one situations. When they do manage to penetrate the defense, they often find themselves in challenging positions. This allows you to confidently switch to your Center Back and make a tackle, knowing that the CDM provides support.

The structured nature of the 4-2-3-1 gives you control over defensive situations, allowing you to anticipate and react effectively. This makes it the standout choice in terms of defensive organization and overall structure, making it a perennial favorite in the Weekend League.

4-3-2-1

Now, let's talk about the last formation. The 4-3-2-1 stands out as the best formation in EA FC 24, by a considerable margin. In terms of tactics, there is nothing special. Just choose balanced and Direct Passing. However, the instructions play a crucial role in this formation compared to others.

I always recommend putting one Fullback on balance. I recommend Right Back for this role. It's essential to assign one Center Midfielder to cover the wing. For instance, let the Left Center Midfielder covers the wing, while Right Winger adopts a defensive role. This ensures balance on both sides of the pitch.

This setup effectively transforms the 4-3-2-1 into a 4-4-2 defensively. While attacking, the formation becomes incredibly potent. Defending against a 4-3-2-1 can be challenging, but by configuring it to mimic a 4-4-2 defensively, you create a solid defensive structure. This versatility in both attacking and defensive phases is what makes the 4-3-2-1 preferred formation in EA FC 24.

Key Moving Techniques Every Goalkeeper Needs To Master In EA FC 24

Mar 04 ,2024

Goalkeeper movements are crucial in EA FC 24. By strategically positioning your goalkeeper, you can gain insight into your opponent’s intentions and effectively block their shots. There are many ways and situations in which you need to move your goalkeeper, and in this guide, I’ll show you all of them.

Key Movement Techniques Every Goalkeeper Needs To Master in EA FC 24

Let's familiarize ourselves with the controls. You can move a goalkeeper by using R3, your right analog stick. Simply press and hold it, granting you the ability to shift your goalkeeper in any direction-left, right, backward, forward, according to your preference. In order to enhance your gaming experience, it is also important to give your players increased capabilities by investing some EA FC 24 Coins.

1V1

First, we have 1v1 goalkeeper movement. This is just a mind game. You never really know, but you can just try to predict. However, you won't encounter this situation very often, as it means your opponent creates a lot of chances. But when you get into these positions, you can get maximum out of it just by reading your opponent. Then all you can do is either go all out or do nothing.

Long Shots

Next, when talking about long shots, we have the Trivela, and then we’re going to talk about the Finesse.

A slight adjustment to the goalkeeper's position is necessary. We need to move the goalkeeper to the left, or for the goalkeeper to the right. But from our point of view, it’s just really important to move it a bit, because if you move the goalkeeper, the shot will somehow get worse than well.

Let’s jump over to the Finesse. It’s still really effective and obviously even more with the players with the Finesse Shots PlayStyle+. When your opponent has a right foot player for the Finesse, he needs to be on the left side. Then you need to move the goalkeeper to the right side, obviously from the goalkeeper’s point of view to the left.

EA FC 24 finesse shot

Free Kicks

Next, we have free kicks. I think free kicks sometimes are just undefendable. The only way to defend them then is by moving your goalkeeper and putting a player on the line. Obviously, you don’t need to put them in the same corner.

Most of the times, I put my goalkeeper on the side of the wall. It’s important to just practice this because you will notice soon enough how far you can move him. Something I would also recommend is to move him a little back and put him really on the line. The goalkeeper makes a bit more saves than for free kicks.

I think everybody has a bit of a personal preference on how to move the goalkeeper for free kicks. The best way I think to defend it is to move your goalkeeper a bit back, a bit further to the corner he is in already, and put a player on the line on the other corners so you have the best chance of defending a free kick.

Corners

I think many people are also like playing it short and then going back post. You perform it by pressing your triangle 2 times, and the second time you press it, you need to hold it. Then your goalkeeper will move really quick. But this way, it’s also really unpredictable for your opponent because you don’t need to move it too early. When you see the crosses coming in, you press double triangle.

Corner Kicks

We jump over to corner kicks. They try to take it short and cross it back post, or they try to give it first post. This makes it harder for my opponent to cross it. He’s probably trying to drag a defender to the first post and head it in. Then, when you see your opponent is giving it back post, you can just move him back to the line because I think those headers back post, the chance to go in is way worse.

If you see your opponent is changing it up, just move him back on the line. But first of all, just try to secure the first post because these corners' first post are so dangerous and you can just appoint them by moving your goalkeeper.

4 Skill Moves Can Help You Attack Like A Pro With Ease In EA FC 24

Feb 26 ,2024

There are some skill moves that you need to master if you want to play as pro players in EA FC 24. Skill moves stand as one of the most effective methods to outmaneuver defenders in FC 24. However, many players struggle to discern which skill moves are optimal for each situation. Let’s delve into the essential tips of skill moves you need to master.

4 Skill Moves Can Help You Attack Like A Pro With Ease In EA FC 24

Before practice these skill moves, you can boost your players performance by investing some EA FC 24 Coins.

Stepover Straight

First off, we have the Stepover Straight. That is only possible by knowing the exit direction of each skill move. Stepover Straight’s exit direction is always in front of us. It is always straight like this because it is called a Stepover Straight. So we go from 3 to 12 in an anticlockwise direction while pointing the left stick straight in front of our player.

So whenever if there have space in front of you, you can use the Stepover Straight because this game is all about finding space and exploiting it. If there is space, I will do the Stepover Straight because it will always exit in front of my player. That is the basic thing you need to keep in mind - the exit direction.

Flair Nutmeg

Then, I want to talk about the Flair Nutmeg. It is best used on the Wings. It is one of the best skill moves to use on the wings. Once again, it is the exit direction. If I want to exit towards the right quickly while I’m facing straight and I want to bait my opponent if he’s a good opponent, I would do a Flair Nutmeg pass.

EA FC 24 Flair Nutmeg

When you do a Flair Nutmeg and you cancel it with the pass, you opponant may think that you might go straight, but then you pass. It is all about having that element of surprise. But like I said, the first thing is knowing the exit direction of the skill move, combined with knowing where the space is, actually takes your game to the next level.

Ball Roll

Next, let’s talk about the Ball Roll. It shifts the ball from left to right, right to left, and it is great for creating space and angles. The best thing about the Ball Roll is that we use it to create angles. You should always pass the ball in the direction that you are facing.

We need to remember the exit direction. If we go right, it will exit towards the right side. If we go left, it will exit towards the left. So whenever we have space either left or right, depending on the space, we will perform the Ball Roll.

The Ball Roll allows me to change direction quickly without compromising on passing accuracy. Remember that you always have to pass the ball in the direction you are facing, and the Ball Roll allows us to do that.

EA FC 24 Ball Roll

Reverse Elastico

The last skill move I want to talk about is the Reverse Elastico. When we are inside the box, we have to determine if the space is towards the right or left. If the space is towards the inside, you can perform a Reverse Elastico. The Reverse Elastico will always exit towards the inside of the player. It will go like this towards the inside.

If you wanted to exploit the space on the outside of your player, you can do an Elastico because an Elastico simply exits towards the outside, whereas a Reverse Elastico exits towards the inside of the player.

Final Thought

Skill moves are simple, but we make it overcomplicated by thinking they are very hard. These skill moves are all you need. If it is confusing, just pay attention. By knowing the exit directions of each skill move, we are able to perform them in-game fluently. Once you take this guide seriously and apply these concepts in EA FC 24, you will take your attack to the next level.

Unveiling The Best Of FC 24 Player Career Mode: Why You Should Dive In & What To Anticipate In FC 25

Jan 29 ,2024

Here, we’re presenting what we cherish most in the FC 24 Player Career Mode and encouraging you to give it a try. Additionally, we will explore the enhancements we hope to see in these areas for FC 25.

Please note that when you start playing Career Mode, please make sure you have enough FC 24 Coins. This way, you can face various challenges more easily.

Unveiling The Best Of FC 24 Player Career Mode: Why You Should Dive In & What To Anticipate In FC 25

6. Play Highlights

In the sixth spot, we have the option to play only the highlights of matches.

This feature is fundamentally enjoyable as it allows you to skip the duller moments of the game and focus on the exciting parts. Theoretically, it also means you can progress through your matches quicker, enabling you to embark on an impressive journey in less time.

However, I find the functionality isn’t quite up to par yet. The simulation is erratic, and the gameplay moments often feel repetitive and unrealistic.

For FC 25, it would be great to see this feature optimized with more realistic moments and a more believable simulation for the segments you don’t play.

5. Pro Camera

In fifth place, we have the Pro Camera.

As a former footballer, this camera angle closely mirrors what you experience on the field. It offers limited visibility, requiring you to rely on instinct and feeling for certain plays to find the right solution. Additionally, its low position enhances the ambiance of the match, boosting the sense of immersion.

For FC 25, it would be fantastic if there were more options to customize the camera settings. At times, it zooms in too much for my liking, or it might take an awkward turn, causing you to lose your overview.

FC 24 Pro Camera

4. Immersion

At number 4, we continue with the theme of immersion.

The presentation of fully licensed leagues and tournaments is outstanding. Combined with the Pro Camera, it genuinely feels like you’re a player in the Premier League. You can fully enjoy the incredible stadiums in England or Germany. This year, they’ve significantly shortened the cut scenes before matches, and you also often see the same ones.

In FC 25, this aspect could be further improved by developing a wider variety of changing cut scenes and putting special matches in an extra spotlight.

3. Achievements

Coming in at number 3, we have the achievement of goals, special moments, and breaking records.

FC 24 doesn’t do much in this area beyond things like Player of the Week, Month, or Season. However, it’s still thrilling to chase after records set by other FC 24 Players like Alan Shearer’s Premier League record.

In FC 25, it would be great if more attention were given to these aspects. Currently, it feels like a somewhat empty journey that you can embellish yourself, but it would be exciting if the game itself offered more in this regard.

2. Creating A Story

At number 2, we have the development of your own player or an existing player. This mode allows you to build a real story with a single player.

However, the game itself does little to facilitate this. It’s more the nature of playing as a single player that creates this experience. Nevertheless, this is a very enjoyable aspect because you can truly craft a career.

For FC 25, it would be fantastic if more attention were paid to this. Pausing to acknowledge milestones like your debut for a new team would be great. Also, aspects like contracts need an overhaul.

FC 24 Creating A Story

1. Feeling Of Impact

At number 1, we have the feeling of impact when controlling a single player on the field. Whether it’s an attacker, midfielder, or defender, it feels more like playing real football when you’re reliant on teammates and bring your own unique value to the game.

Compared to controlling the entire team, you can focus on your position and extract the maximum from it. This provides a more targeted focus on the game. Again, the game itself doesn’t do much here. It’s more about the nature of this mode.

For FC 25, it would be amazing if more attention were paid to your position. Questions like how valuable you are, what standout statistics you have, what you could improve on, and who your competitors are all need more depth for each position.

The above points are what we find cool about the EA FC 24 Player Career Mode.

How To Easily Perform A Bicycle Kick Like Pro Players In EA FC 24?

Jan 22 ,2024

I’m going to show you how to do a bicycle kick in EA FC 24. There is an objective in Finishing Mastery like previous games such as FIFA 23, where you need to score a goal from a bicycle kick. I’m going to show you how. Now, there are a couple of things you can do to increase your chances of scoring a bicycle kick.

How To Easily Perform Bicycle Kicks Like A Pro Player In EA FC 24?

PlayStyle

The first of which is to use players with a specific playstyle. So if I have a brief look at my club in Ultimate Team and go into Squad, there are a couple of players in my squad capable of doing bicycle kicks very nicely, and I’ve put them as my 2 Strikers.

I have Haaland and Aimen, but you can use your EA FC 24 Coins to buy other players you like who have this playstyle. The reason being, if we right-stick button over on Harland and have a little look at playstyles, if you’re on Player Bio, just hit RB to come over and have a little look over in physical, he’s got this Acrobatic playstyle, and it says performs volleys with improved accuracy and has access to Acrobatic volley animations. So not only is he going to do those volleys or bicycle kicks easier, he’s got access to more animations.

Aimen’s got the same, but a player such as Messi does not. Under his physical attributes, he’s nice and quick, but he’s not got this Acrobatic ability, so he’s going to find that the overhead bicycle kicks harder to do than Harland is. Not saying it’s impossible, but it is easier with Acrobatic playstyle players such as these 2.

Game Mode

The next thing you can do to increase your chances of scoring with a bicycle kick is to play a basic team. So if you go to the play menu and go to Squad Battles, you’re looking for a team that’s got a much lower rating than you. The other nice thing about the Squad Battles mode is you can change the difficulty, so you don’t have to score a bicycle kick on professional.

EA FC 24 Squad Battles

There’s 2 different tactics I think you can do to get the bicycle kick. I think one of them is to cross the ball in, but I think possibly slightly easier is to come in from the center and just try to have the player ahead of you and just a high sort of the ball over or cross it over. So I’m going to try LB+X, which would be a high cross. That’s going to flick the ball up, so we’re going to do that with our Strikers while they’re sort of facing me or my player, and then you get that overhead kick. The more acrobatic they are, the nicer that move is going to be, but that’s basically what we want to be using.

Bicycle Kick Goal

LB+X, L2+B, and then we got the overhead kick there. That would be L1+Square on the PlayStation and L2+Circle on the PlayStation for the actual kick itself. So we’ve got the ball coming forwards, and we’re looking to do a little high cross in. So the buttons for that would be LB+X on the Xbox or L1+Square on the PlayStation to chip the ball in as that ball comes in.

Our player then faces us, which is what’s important. So the chest is towards it, the ball is coming in just at a nice height here, and then what we’re hitting is a Left Trigger+B to shoot, or that would be L2+Circle on the PlayStation. He comes up nicely, and we can see this is a lovely overhead kick or a bicycle kick straight into the goal.

Everything You Need To Know About This Overpowered Drag To Drag Skill Move In EA FC 24

Jan 16 ,2024

The skill move was introduced back in the days when the game was known as FIFA 20. We have this overpowered skill move in EA FC 24 which no one is talking about. It’s a 4 star rated skill move. Your player drags the ball like he’s turning in the opposite direction, then he again drags it to the previous direction where he has been moving to. So if you have enough FC 24 Coins to buy players who can use this skill move, let’s just jump into the guide.

How To Perform?

To perform this simple, overpowered skill move, you need a 4 star rated player. You hold the L2/LT, then immediately you perform the Fake Shot where you first press Circle and quickly press X or B and quickly press A. If your player, for example, Messi, is facing in this direction when you perform this skill move, he will drag the ball to the opposite direction, then drag it back to the direction he was moving to first. This only happens if you don’t touch the left analog, and it's the basic way to use it.

Everything You Need To Know About This Powerful Drag To Drag Skill Move In EA FC 24

Another way, when you perform the skill move, is to immediately point the left analog to the direction you want this player to exit to. This is the creative and advanced way to use this skill move. Both ways are so effective.

Why Is It Effective?

The reason why this skill is good is the quick change of direction. The skill is effective when you want to change direction, and right now it has that surprise effect because fewer players still recall it, and no one expects you to perform it.

Effective Ways To Use It

Beat That Defender

The first way is to beat that defender. This skill move works best against aggressive defending. I usually use the advanced way to beat Defenders and exit away. Surprise effect is a game-changer.

Open Up Spaces

Another way is to open up spaces. The way how this skill move works, your player remains standstill but still moves the ball, and that effect confuses the opponent because he expects you to either remain standstill or dribble. For example, I pass the ball to my Midfielder, and he’s surrounded by 3 opponent Defenders. I control the ball safely. I try to dribble away from pressure to exploit the space and also see if I can pass to this player.

But the opponent is overcommitting to press and also blocking this pass. So, I use his aggression and beat this Defender with drag to drag, but still, I’m surrounded by 3 Defenders. But if I try to dribble into it, the opponent can still press my player. So, I again perform the skill move and it opens up this space in front. I perform the Step Over for a speed boost and drive forward.

Beat The Opponent's Press

Another way is to beat the opponent’s press. I like using this skill move when pressed by the opponent, especially in my half, which means I have 4 star skill rated players in my defense and midfield since this skill move works well against aggressive Defenders, and it also opens up space. Don’t underestimate the power of this skill move.

Cut Inside

Another way to use this move is to simply cut inside. This move, you don’t need hard skill moves like ball roll scoop turn. The skill move is so simple to perform, but it’s very useful to cut inside. You just perform it, point the left analog inside, as easy as that. It works well because on the wing, sometimes you get into those chase scenarios with the opponent's Fullbacks, and you know how effective this skill move is. If the opponent is overcommitting, perform it, beat that defender, and move inside.

Open Passing Lanes & Angles

The last way is to open passing lanes and angles. This is one of the best tricks you can use to open up passing lanes. The reason why it's so effective in this situation when that pass is not possible. When you perform the skill move, your player drags the ball to another angle, which opens up the passing lane. So, I also perform this skill move, which changes the passing angle and opens up the lane. I take the pass and get in behind, and that’s this overpowered skill move. You can practice it and try it yourself.

Top 5 Skill Shots In EA FC 24 - How To Perform & Increase Your Chance Of Scoring Them?

Rules You Should Follow

There are some rules that you should follow, so your player will perform the skill shot:

  1. Your player should be inside the box.
  2. Don't put too much power on the shot, only from 1 to 2 bars of power.
  3. It would be better if you are using a player that has the Flare play style.

1. Rainbow Shot

Let's start things up with the Rainbow Shot or the Rainbow Chip Shot

You can perform it as a normal shot or as a chip shot if you want to. It's one of the hardest skill shots to perform in FC 24, and you have to be using a FC 24 Player that has at least 3-star skill moves.

When it comes to controls in the game, what you have to do first is perform the Rainbow Flick skill move by flicking your right stick backward and then flick it again forward. At this time, while your player is performing the Rainbow Flick skill move, you have to be quick and time it perfectly.

You have to hold the L2 button or the LT button and then shoot. Like I said, you can use it as a chip shot by holding the L2 and the L1 button on PlayStation or the LT and the LB button on Xbox.

So, while your player is performing the Rainbow Flick skill move, you have to be quick and hold the L2 and then shoot using from 1 to 2 bars of power, and you're going to see your player performing the Rainbow Flick Finish

2. No Look Chip

For the second skill shot, I'm going with the No Look Chip. It's actually so easy to perform in-game. Not only that, you can perform it in Ultimate Team and score the No Look Chip easily in FC 24.

Also, it requires only 2-star skill moves. So basically, you can perform it with any player.

To perform this move in-game, the initial step is to perform the Ball Roll skill move. Conducting a Ball Roll involves holding your right stick either to the right or left of your player. Following the Ball Roll or during its execution, you need to hold the L2 and the L1 on PlayStation or the LT and the LB on Xbox.

Subsequently, shoot with a power ranging from 1 to 2 bars. It’s crucial not to exert too much power on the shot (beyond 2 bars), as this would result in your player executing a completely different shot, and the desired No Look Shot won’t be achieved. Stick to the recommended 1 to 2 bars of power, and you’ll witness your player performing a No Look Chip Shot.

The ease of performing this in-game lies in the requirement of only 2-star skill moves. It’s accessible to any player, and there’s virtually nothing that can go wrong. Unlike the Rainbow Shot, precise timing is not necessary this time. When near the goalkeeper, perform the Ball Roll, then simultaneously hold the L2 and the L1 on PlayStation or the LT and the LB on Xbox before taking the shot.

Performing this move in-game is exceptionally straightforward, and you can successfully score it even in Ultimate Team.

3. Scorpion Kick

Next, let’s move on to something that requires the Acrobatic playstyleScorpion Kick

It’s truly exceptional when performed correctly in the game and doesn’t necessitate any specific skill moves, provided you are using a player with the Acrobatic playstyle.

For in-game controls, initiate a cross. Specifically, for the Scorpion Kick, I recommend a normal cross – refrain from holding any additional buttons, just a normal cross.

Now, before you take the shot, the initial action is to hold the L2 button. Subsequently, ensure your player is consistently moving forward; don’t halt. Keep directing them forward using the left stick, then proceed to shoot. By following these steps, you’ll witness your player flawlessly perform the Scorpion Kick.

4. Backheel Chip Shot

Now, let’s move on to one of my favorite trick shots and skill shots to perform in FC 24 – Backheel Chip Shot

It doesn’t require any skill moves. You just have to be using a player that has got the Flare playstyle

To perform this move in the game, your player must not be facing the goal; instead, their back should be turned toward the goal. For instance, prior to a Drag Back, ensure your player is facing the goal. Then, what you need to do is simultaneously hold the L2 and the L1. Following that, shoot with a power ranging from 1 to 2 bars. By doing so, you’ll witness your player performing the Backheel Chip Shot, delivering a truly impressive and stylish finish if performed correctly.

5. 360 Shot

Now, let’s delve into a trick shot that poses a greater challenge compared to the Backheel Chip Shot – 360 Shot.

For this move, you need to use a player with a minimum of 2-star skill moves and the Flare playstyle.

To perform it in the game, the initial step involves performing the Drag Back skill move. On PlayStation, achieve this by holding the R1 and the L1, then move your player backward. If you’re on Xbox, hold the RB and the LB while moving your player backward. While your player is engaged in the Drag Back skill move, you need to be swift and simultaneously hold the L2 and the L1. After that, shoot with a power ranging from 1 to 2 bars

It may sound challenging, but honestly, once you master it in-game, you’ll realize how manageable it is. To be frank, it adds a remarkably stylish finish to your play in EA FC 24.
